PNY gtx780 ti alternating white flashes at bootup

This morning something weird happened with my gpu when I first booted my system. It started a pattern of bright white flashes and didn't stop until I powered it down and rebooted after letting it sit for a minute. I've never encountered this before with any card and was wondering if anyone else has encountered this behavior before. Last year I had an incident where everything turned green for a few minutes until I rebooted. I'm hoping that this was just an isolated incident but if not it does have a lifetime warranty just in case it does fail completely.

Well the same thing just happened when I tried to boot my system. In the midst of it all I did manage to see my mouse pointer in the middle of the screen this time. Unfortunately I didn't have my phone turned on to record the episode. Looks like my gpu is going to die soon so I'll find out how good pny's rma service is.
