After coming back from school...as usual I check my local bestbuy looking for a 5750 xfx to price match against frys (which is 129.99 for frys vs 159.99 @ bestbuy). There was none avail :(, I was bummed out. But I noticed their PNY GTS 250 XlR8 was on clearance 169.99 - 57 = 112.99 plus the coupon i had on hand which takes additional 12% off ! (reward zone special).

Grand total of 99$ after all the reductions :^) ~ before tax.\

I hope it will fit my gateway case :( :p

I see alot of DX10 cards are on clearance and/or offered with big rebates.

I just purchased a PNY Geforce GT 240 512MB GDDR5 for $80 - $35 MIR = $45.

I take it you purchased it which is a pretty good deal one that I would have taken as well.

The only drawback is that the 5750 is DX11 but there are really no games I play that take advantage of it.

Not even Starcraft 2 next month is going to need a DX11 GPU for anything.

I believe nVidia is about to announce alot of low end / mainstream DX11 cards now that the GTX 465 is out.

You may upgrade sooner rather than later but you've got a fast card at an excellent price in the meantime.

Don't fall for any PNY "lifetime" warranty, because there isn't any such thing. Just FYI.
