PNY GeForce3 Ti200 or MSI GeForce3 Ti200?

Ok, I need some assistance in choosing between the PNY GeForce 3 Ti200 and MSI GeForce3 Ti200 video cards.

Both of these cards have the basic options I want: TV and DVI out (plus more); and they both have the same clock speed, bandwidth, and memory speed. The only difference I can really see between both of the manufacturers is that PNY has a lifetime warranty for this board, and MSI does not. Lastly, the price for both of these cards is about the same as well ($168 and $175 for retail versions).

I'm not really a Gamer, but want a really flexible card based on the nVidia GeForce3 Ti200 chipset.

Has anybody had any experience with both of these manufacturers in terms of tech support, reliability, and etc? Or has anybody conducted a head-to-head comparison of both of these cards. I saw a review of these cards on Hardocp, which pretty much had them evenly matched.

Basically, I just need to get some good recommendations as to which card to purchase.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have the PNY GeForce 3 Ti200 and it is actually made by MSI and distributed through PNY. My bios says my PNY is an MSI card.

If U live in Europe the Creative is an option. It is cheaper tha MSI BUT is an exact copy (my theory) of that card. If U Compare them U cant se any difference. Mayby the chip differs??

MSI seems to make both the PNY GeForce3 Ti200 and Ti500 boards. I have the PNY GeForce3 Ti500 and the BIOS says MSI. Even the board says MS-8853 on it which is the more basic of the two MSI Ti500 boards.

Folks with the PNY over 500mhz core clock speed, what is your mfg date? Mines 4501, its found on the bottom right of the front of the card in those old LCD boxy numbers. Should be in white etching. Anyways, I got one for a gift for my bro b/c he didn't wan the BB VisTek I got him (He wants DVI out). I figured I'd test it for him :) Just wanna see what I can expect out of it.

Just got my PNY Ti 200 today from Newegg. Very pleased. My numbers are 0145. They're the only numbers on the board that look like a digital watches LCD. The card says MSI 8851 ver 1.30 on it.

With stock cooling I got the mem up to 570 and then it starts artifacting, the core will lock at 260. I've settled, at least for the time being with 250/550. Fantastic card so far.
