Hey Guys - My First Post- Whoohoo!

I just got the PNY FX5600 Ultra 128mb card-This beast runs way cooler than the BFG FX5600 256MB Card...

I am wondering where to get a good overclocking utility.
The card as some of you know requires extra voltage via a 4pin molex from the ps.
This shouldnt be a problem for my 430 truepower Antec PS with OC'ing right?

System
ASUS P4C800 Deluxe
Intel Pentium 4 2.8 C Stock HSF
Corsair XMS PC-3500 2x256MB (Dual Channel)
Seagate Barracuda V 80GB SATA
PNY Geforce FX 5600 Ultra 128MB
Antec Performance Plus 1080MB-(430 W, 4 80mm fans)

One more question: Highest FSB I can get is 219 with 1:1 stock timings...(PAT & HT OFF)
Should i go 5:4 CPU/Mem timings and then go up from there with all stock voltages?

Current Temps: CPU:32C, MOBO: 32C, FX5600U:41C ---Room to grow I'd say :D

Welcome aboard :) Do you have the 2nd version clocked at 400/800 or the original 350/700? To overclock it just download and install the lil' reg patch coolbits BTW, your PSU will definitely handle it.

Have a look here to see what settings will work best for your board and any other info you are after.

Your CPU and mobo temps are the same?!?!?! You sure you have your monitoring program configured properly?

yeah dude...temps vary a little but at that moment ASUS Probe reported that. (which is onboard the MOBO...meaning this newb didnt mess it up)

I have the 400 core / 800 MHz memory version..

BTW the only two places that carry this card are techdepot.com and Frys/Outpost.com...
Tech depot being cheapest... Hot card tho brand new.

I'll wait for more suggestions on Coolbits before i rush...

just checked again both temps are same at 33C...but they were different earlier

All coolbits does is "When you run this file to edit the registry, it change the values of the keys that allow you to use the factory overclocking utilities from Nvidia."
