To bad PNY stayed an nVidia only partner. Thats one thing companys should change, you need the best of all worlds.

didnt PNY go bellyup up a while back, and the brand name get bought by someone
they gave me the runaround on a bad vidcard, finally stopped answering totally, but this was coupla years ago. Swore I'd never buy from them again, then later saw good reports

That's BFG. BFG is liquidated, and as a part of liquidation, brand name was sold to Best Data, which owns Diamond.

Yeah PNY sold TI 4200-4800 vgas 10 years ago. What a crappy buisness. I had a BS lifetime warranty on one of those VGA cards also.

Absolutely.
As I now recall, one of their cards went dead after a week, the only bad vidcard I ever had. So I sent it back on RMA, didnt hear from them in about 4 weeks, emailed them many times, and i think I called also (not sure), got no response whtatsoever, checkd with UPS and it had been delivered. So they had my card, my money and that was it. This was right at the height of their money probs. I make good income, so didnt care much.

However, I must say they seem to be O.K. now, whoever they are owned by presently.
