PNY 8800GT getting too hot [ URGENT ]

hi,

I purchased after 2.5 years a new computer.

well

PSU 430W antec

cpu: core 2 E4600
video card: PNY 8800 gt

well i was so damn excited.

now after putting everything together the graphic card getting too hot its not even possible to touch its back :/

the fan is runing normal.

any help?
 
Did you adjust fan settings in RivaTuner? It's a well known flaw in the VBIOS in the 8800GT that keeps the "auto" fan speed setting to remain on 29%, hence, the hot temperatures.
