no its not. after paying shipping AND TAX, it comes out about the same? not mentioning having to cross fingers and wait on evga to pay their rebate
people can get this and be at home playing wow on it the same night

As far as tax, that depends on where you live. Shipping; lots of places have the 7600GT for little to no shipping. And besides, the 7600GT is WAY better than the GS. All the 7600GS does is ensure that you'll need to upgrade your video card in 8 months...........

Evga rebates for me have been fast. Well, fast is relative, I'll say within 3-4 weeks.
