Kinda hot. 6800GTs dropped to the $330-$340 a few weeks ago. It would be awesome if the MSRP dropped to $299 to compete with the x800XL.

Damn, thats very hot indeed. I just ordered at 6600GT for $200 with dual DVI, this is almost tempting enough to return or refuse the one thats on the way and buy this one for $100 more.

Did a bit of research and this is a great deal. I was gonna wait for a cheap 6600gt but I can't let this go by the wayside. I just hope I don't have any payments for my bank account I forgot about.

Damn, I just ordered this one. Looks like its worth a $100 more to get the 6800GT vs the 6600 GT though from what I've been reading.

Damn you hot deals!

Making me more and more broke!

i want one- outpost says this is DUAL dvi.. Can anyone confirm that? I went to pny site and found no 6800gt ( agp) that has dual dvi.....

I wonder about that too. I actually have a PNY AGP 6800GT (bought it last July for $337), and it only has one DVI port. I don't know if they've changed the board since then or not.

y u liddle...I paid $399 for mine last summer. great card for sure - fast performance at 1280x1024 with all options maxed out. In comparison to X800XL they are usually within 10% of each other, with the notable exception of Doom 3 where 6800GT has 20-25% advantage. X800XL has small advantage (5%) Far Cry, while 6800GT has a small advantage (5%) in UT2004. In HL2 the X800XL has a small advantage without AA/AF, which changes into an advantage for 6800GT if you turn AA/AF on. So there's really no reason to pay more for 6800GT than for X800XL, unless you are considering the SLI capability, which is only available in the pci-express version anyway.

great deal for a 6800GT, but i wouldn't spend that kinda money on an AGP card at this point with PCI-Express becoming the obvious standard (thus better long-term investment).

all 6800GT i seen only have 1 dvi and 1 vga with svideo output...

the 6800U are the ones with dual dvi...

I called outpost sales and bought it.. they put a note on my account that if it turns out NOT to have DUAL dvi.. I WILL GET full refund + their shipping to me+ my shipping back to them.. I guess that will work.. I'll let you know when i get the card.. Reason i gambled was because i saw that buy.com also has it specced to have dual DVI. Kind of odd that both outpost and buy.com messed up the stats?

Funny, it says AGP 8X, but then it says it has PCI Express Support also.

Look harder. Many GT's have dual DVI. MSI, XFX, EVGA etc....

That left me scratching my head too. If it's AGP, it's certainly not what I'm looking for. Sucks too, since that's a pretty darned good price for a 6800GT. It's almost $400 everywhere else.
