PNY 6800 cards

Does anybody what the hell is going on with the PNY GeForce 6800 series cards (specifically the one that's 6800 non-GT and non-Ultra)? On every hardware shopping site there appears "This item is not stocked or has been discontinued". The www.pny.com site allows to "pre-order" the cards and promises that they'll be awailable from early August (yeah, right. It's almost September).
I've ordered the card in question from www.spacecentersystems.com and now am waiting for some good news.
Anyone?

Hi,

PNY is severly back ordered on these cards, because although they're manufacturing the card, they're also reselling it for it's MRSP of $399. I placed an order straight from PNY on the 21st of July, they do have a problem with there online tracking system but there Customer service (at least through email, calling them is pretty difficult) is excellent.
My GT shipped on the 16th, so I imagine, if they discontinued the card that they are at least trying to satisfy the current demand.

There 'early august' ETA was on time, at least for me, however I bet it only applies to people who got in line a few weeks ago. Hope this helps a bit.

Don't even bother, I've e-mailed them a bunch of times in the past, asking about my 5700u's fan. I kept getting these responses saying "I am on vacation, please send to this adress" I did, no response. If you want results, you need to call them.
