About a month ago I upgraded a friends puter from a Radeon to a PNY G4 4400 (did a clean istall of XP also). The system performed great with no issues. All of a sudden He is getting numerous graphic glitches. His card acts as though it is over clocked too high or very hot. He gets multi-colored lines, squares and a box that followes the mouse around. I upgraded the drivers from 27.20 to 28.32 and it did not help. you have to shut the machine down for a few minutes before it goes away. Reset does nothing. Should I have him RMA this card?

System
XP1800
Epox 8k7a+
512mb pc 2100
sblive gamer 5.1
Antec 300watt PS

I'm working on my second PNY Ti4400 myself. The first one I had was bad. Lockups at startup, and some other things. This one works ok, but it's not running games as smooth as I feel it should. I think PNY is bad news, and their Ti4400's are faulty. I can't help ya with your problem or anything, but I just thought I'd let you know that you're not alone.

I swapped out the card in a couple other machines and the card works fine. I even changed some PS's for kicks.
