PNY 256MB (PC100/133) $12.99 at Office Depot (AR?)

I'm surprised no one has caught this apparent mistake. In the Office Depot ad this week it looks as if they got the prices on the memory switched around; 128mb for $27.99 AR and 256mb for $12.99 AR. These are the prices switched around from last weeks ad in which the 128mb was $12.99 and the 256mb was $24.99 AR's.

I'm I the only one who caught this? I thought I would go pick a few sticks of 256mb tomorrow for $12.99 a piece AR.

No, I saw it too. However, it doesn't work online. You enter the sku's, and the 256mb are the more expensive ones. It might work well with a coupon, but the only ones in stock for me online are pc100.

I also tried at my local B&M, but they were aware of the misprint & would not honor it.

However, if you can get it to work for you, consider yourself lucky, and me jealous.

Thanks for the find, but I think it's an OD typo. The SKUs of the '256MB' memory modules listed in the ad are all 128MB, NOT 256MB. So, YMMV. Would probably need to argue with an OD CSR to get upgraded from 128MB to 256MB. Then again, by buying the 128MB and the Imation 50-pk CD-Rs, and with a coupon (say, 10 off 50), plus free delivery for orders over $50, the price of the 128MB would be about $5 after tax.

OD retracted the ad but I took it to Circuit City and they not only PM'd PNY 256meg PC-133 stick of ram, but gave me a $20 MIR along with the $5 IR, so it was even cheaper!!!!!!!

Nice deal!!!

Also stumbled across a pair of IO Magic 32x10x40 CD-RW's for $5 ea. after rebates.

What a day!!!!!

Worked for me in Denver !! Also printed out a $20.00 rebate (NOT 15.00) from register. My total cost after rebate (with tax) $10.08
BTW>>> BAST BUY wouldn't pricematch !!

Hate dealing with BB CSRs so I got a 110% PM at a CC B&M (they wouldn't do the $5 IR)
