PnP OS on Epox 8KHA+ and CAS2 setting?

Yah, so should I have the PnP OS setting as "Yes" in the BIOS? I am running a tri-boot of Win98SE, Win2KPro, and WinXPPro. And what if I was just running Win2K Pro for example?

What setting is it in the BIOS that I change my Crucial's to CAS2? I didn`t see anything saying CAS2 in there, but it was a quick glance.
And what will going from 2.5 to 2 do for me? Any other changes necessary to run at CAS2?

Thanks.

Oh and does anyone in here NOT have a rock solid 8KHA+ with the FF code displayed?

Leave PnP OS set to No, I forget why, but leave it set to no.

As for CAS2, when you goto the DRAM options, set

SDRAM Cycle Length - 2
DRAM PreChrg to Act CMD - 2T
DRAM Active to CMD - 2T

AFAIK, those are the settings for CAS2, please correct me if I'm wrong.

This will give you a small performance boost, not sure exactly how much, almost negligable, but yeah.

I think you're supposed to set PNP OS to NO before you install an operating system, but afterwards you can set it to YES.

Does setting Plug'n Play OS to : NO allow for better IRQ management? Is it easier to avoid Windows putting all devices on same few IRQ's this way? I've noticed that certain cards just shouldn't share IRQ's, no matter what specs say.
