pms not working

Hello
I have had another forum member tell me he can't send me a pm.
I have checked the settings in my profile but still not working. Is there anyway a mod could check into this for me ?

In your profile I see you have the option to receive PMs only from contacts and mods marked. That will keep everyone else out.
