PM Limit Reduced

I update my email addy in my profile (as required) and changed it, and now my PM limit has been reduced to 50. How can I get my old limit back?
 
Are you sure? This isn't something set individually, and users should have a limit of 1200 private messages.
 
It was definitely reduced. In fact, I got a message saying that I was over my limit. I deleted everything, and then had a limit of 50. It's now back to 1,200.
