Wouldnt it be a good idea to make it so you cant send a PM if you do not have PMs enabled?

Sometimes I get a PM about a FS/FT thread, reply... and then see in my history mine was never sent because the person doesnt have PMs enabled!

 
Trust me, it's been suggested many times, but everytime it's been shot down for some reason. I think it's a wonderful idea, but the people at the top haven't agreed thus far, and I see no reason why it's going to change.
 
As said many many many many many times before, did I mention many? 🙂 We do not make this software, want a new feature? Tell e-Zone, not us, as we do not modify the software. They look at all their requests and even send an email out to the submission author if the feature makes it notifying them of it's ETA.

I am the CTO of e-Zone, but we want forum suggestions directed there, as anand doesn't modify his code in order to keep up with new releases. The suggestion is a good one, but it requires database changes which are only done on feature builds, so maybe 3.2. 3.1 is almost done beta now thats not possible.
