At first glance, I'm tempted to say "remove Asus Probe and SiSoft Sandra" :evil:

I dumped the output into http://hijackthis.de and the only items it doesn't know appear to be legit. Are you experiencing infection symptoms? If so, since I see you've got Kaspersky on there, did you make sure to enable the Extended Databases? movie clip showing how to max out the protection, including Extended Databases. Then restart in Safe Mode and do a full scan.

No, not really experiencing any symptoms. Just haven't done one in awhile and wanted to be cautious. So you would like to see a HJT log in safe mode? I'll have it on here soon.

PS - Asus probe and SiSandra are both programs I have on my comp. probe loads on startup and stays active in the taskbar (it monitors temps, etc) should I still remove them?

Your log is clean. The above entry is not neccessary. It would not hurt to delete it since it merely removes it from the startup group. It doesn't hurt your ability to use the program. Remove it or leave it ... its really your choice.

I'd also remove Asus probe from startup. You can still use the program by accessing it in your program group. Mech mentioned Sisoft because its been known to cause some conflicts ... not because its essentially bad.

Asus Probe file is okay but deemed unneccesary. It's only required if you overclock your card or live in a hot area.

If I were you, I'd use Mike Linn's Startup Control Panel to remove AsusProbe and SiSoftware Sandra from your startup programs.

Don't use HJT on AsusProbe.

Regarding the entry: O4 - Global Startup: Exif Launcher.lnk = ?
- it's pointing to a shortcut. If you don't recognize it, use HJT to fix it. Remember, make sure ALL windows are closed before you click "Fix Checked" in HJT.

Thanks for the response.

Ya I guess Asusprobe I can do with out now to be running all the time. My comp. is safely overclocked but not so much an issue anymore about heat as I used to live in FL. Aside from that, exif is for my digital camera, not req'd either so I removed it from my startup through msconfig. I usually use WinPatrol for editing my startup strings and etc.

Actually I mentioned it because it's the AOL of benchmarking :evil: Ahhh, the panicked newbies howling that their voltage, temperature, memory bandwidth or _________ is teh bads, and of course what are they measuring it with...? Yeah.
