Okay, will be hanging out with a friend tonight, and I want to rent a DVD, but something to laugh at. I'd like to get something that has come out recently, BOTOH the crap that Hollywood has produced in the last 5 years or so makes me rethink that idea

I'm really into 'dark humor' as the saying goes, and I HATE ADAM SANDLER type movies. That alone eliminates 75% of the comedies that have come out recently, I'm sure. And if anyone suggests a romantic comedy, have the nearest EMT's report the the bottom of a Cliff, as that's where they will find my remains and then notify my next of kin........

Thanks if anyone can suggest something that will have me busting my gut with Hardy har hars.............:)

The Princess Bride (except for the simple fact that everyone's seen it a million times already)
Spaceballs
Who's Harry Crumb?
The Rat Race (highly recommended)

How about Comedian, the Jerry Seinfeld documentary? I really enjoyed it.

Company Man

Don't bother with that IMDB rating ...
It presents a different and funny view of the Cuban revolution. You'll be laughing for hours. Woody Allen is in it, although uncredited.

It's worth a shot ...
