<< finally got 3dmark2001

oc my visiontek to 240/500 so far but i only get 4700 or so
i have a thunderbird 1ghz oc to 1.1 by increasing the fsb to 110 and i run my memory asynchronysly at cas2-2-2 at 146mhz
i wonder why my score is so low?
any thoughts?
are there any settings that should or should not be on in the bios or the driver to make my card run faster
none the less im pretty happy for 99 bucks

Try playing around with your ram settings in your bios. Setting more aggressive settings on my mobo (KR7A-Raid) yielded much better results. Also, you can try installing the latest 23.11 Nvidia drivers. From what I gather, those yielded significantly better performance than the drivers I am using, 21.83.

Running my ASUS V8200T2 Pure stable @230/500 without any heatsinks and with a lausy fan on it! Locks up @250/530 or greater...

Think i need some heatsinks and a good fan(Blue Orb or something?)

BB Visiontek G3ti200 (black friday). Cant get the OC to more then 215/480 and thats pushing it REAL hard. Usually run it at 205/450 or so. 8KHA+, Xp1600@1583(150fsb),256mb DDR,Win2k,Det22.80s = 8152 in 3dMark2001.

Asus ti-500 deluxe on a 1.9ghz p4, 512mb RDRAM. 3dmark 2001 = 7891. It sounds low to me but I didn't have a chance to play with any drivers, it was a customers system I was building.

I just installed my Asus ti-200, it's running at 220/480 with no problems right now on an Asus A7V266e, XP1700, 512mb DDR, win XP pro. 3dmark 2001 = 7261 I would like to try overclocking this higher but it's at the max of the asus tweak utility, what's another overclocking utility I can try?

TopGun, there's several programs to oc gfx-cards with. Many use Nvmax, I believe that's what it's called, and I've heard it should be a good prog.
I use PowerStrip myself, in the version I have you can oc up to 300/600, you should go past those number with a Ti200. It's has other nice functions such a being able to force a refresh rate for a resolution, so if you run a game in a lower/higher resolution than you desktop and Windows set the refresh to 60hz the program forces it to your specification. Definitely recommended.
Sorry that I don't have any links, I'm to lazy to do a search in Google right now, just search for the names of the programs.

Happy New Year!!!

I'm pausing for the night at 240/540 with my Leadtek Ti200 TDH. I'll probably try more tomorrow.

Palit Dayona Geforce3 Ti200, tv-out, 230/530 stock cooling.
I don't know the brand of the ram but it is 5ns, which is quite amazing since it runs 530Mhz.
