I need to get a new vid card, want to play (Star Wars Galaxies). I have a flat panel so I want DVI. I want to keep the price low as possible, less than $150 (getting cheap in my old age!). From the following, what do you all recomend?......

ATI Radeon 9200, 128DDR
ATI Radeon 9600Pro, 128DDR (found it for $149)
ASUS V8420 GeForce 4 Ti4200, 128 DDR
Leadtek NV34 with GeForce FX5200 Ultra, 128 DDR

I don't play games often (although SWG I think will suck me back in). Thanks to all in advance!!!

Get the 9600 Pro, it's the best choice of them all. It overclocks to insane speeds (if you like doing that), has better 2D than the nvidia graphics cards--especially with DVI--and is DX9.

I say get the 4200. I was an ati nut but after the problems I had with my Radeon 8500, I went back to good old Nvidia.

Either of these are good, the other two are not.

Thanks all! It seems the ATI 9600 Pro wins. Is $149 a good price? Hopefully the DVI will make the flat panel look a little nicer and Star Wars should play sweet. I've said it before, you guys are the best!!!
