I?ve got a Bfg Asylum GeForce4 Ti 4200 128mb gfx card.
I got this card last year and I?ve been having problems with it ever since. This problem only appears when I play games. When I first got it everything was fine, until I installed Freedom Force, I would get a blue screen of death and the system would restart. I never ever got to place a single second on that game because of this error. The blue screen of death was too fast to read but it said something like "Windows Had Created an Unexpected Error" it said something else and had a whole bunch of numbers.

It would happen rarely to some game but very rarely since I had this card. Other games played fine but I was too lazy to find out why it kept on crashing with Freedom Force. Now when I?m trying to play some new games I getting this error. Also I?m getting another error of playing some games and, have it return to the desktop but there is still a box in the toolbar that says the game is running. If I click on the box I will go back to the game for a few minutes, but then it will go back to the desktop. All of these new games have the newest updates and patches. Now when it crashes and when windows restarts, its sends me to a webpage and says this crash was caused by a "device driver". Also my friend borrowed my gfx card for a month and never got this problem, and also he ran Freedom Force fine, but he has different computer configuration.

Cliff Notes
Never crashes in windows, only with games
On a clean install it still happens
Windows states that the problem is from a "device driver"
I have full updates and drivers
System not over clocked:confused:

I'm running a BFG Aslyum 128MB Ti4200 right now, and Freedom Force plays perfectly fine here. Using the nVidia 44.03 drivers currently.

I would assume that you either have an issue with your AGP drivers, have a defective board(although it doesn't sound like it) or perhaps there is an issue with your sound card? You state that you have the latest drivers, does that include the latest VIA drivers?
