plz help: re-assigning drive letters

hi all,

hope everyone is getting set to enjoy their turkeys soon, whether free range, pre-cooked from a mail-order company, or frozen...

quick question: I'm trying to install some stupid Norton program (I think it was systemworks) for the folks, but through some unfortunate turn of events, it keeps failing. When I initially built the system for them, somehow the default drive became f: and not c:, despite all attempts to fix the destination install folder, the norton install program still has some tiny part that assumes the default drive is c:

SO - how do I fix the drive letter back to c: without reinstalling winDOZE xp? (I do have a spare drive lying around, if that helps produce an answer)

thanks!

I think you can use Disk Management to change drive letter assignments in Windows XP. Start->Control Panel->Adminstrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management.

Then right click on the drive and click "Change Drive Letter and Paths..."

Should work.
