My friend has 2 voodoo2 cards and would like to connect them to increase the performance in games ofcourse :). But he can't seem to find the software to enable it. He tried downloading the newest drivers from 3dfx's homepage but that didn't seem to do the thing.

I personally don't know jack sh|t about that which is why I ask you.

Does he need any special software or is it something he enables in the drivers???.

Tx for the help :)

Dumb question, but do you have the ribbon cable that connects the two cards attached?

Its been a long time since I ran the SLI setup, but I thought there was a checkbox to enable SLI in the video card properties box... I thought my old setup was pretty easy to get up and running....

There just one check box to enable or disable SLI in the property menu of the video card.

The key to a getting SLI to work is in the driver installation...

Remove the card from device manager.

Reboot.

Windows will detect the card and ask for drivers. Point to the location of the drivers. Windows will ask you to reboot.

Choose no.

Windows will detect the second card and should find the drivers on it's own.

When asked to reboot, do so.

Now you will see an option for SLI in properties.
