don't know why it keeps crashing, but I have tried it on two different computers with same WinXP installed. The results were the same........ It does open, but then it closes down..... Every single time....
 
Oh great. I was just thinking of buying MS Money 2002. Did you resolve this? It's unusual that no one tried to help. What was similar between the two machines, and what was different?

Obviously, the same Windows XP. Did you try finding a patch for MS Money 2002 on microsoft's website? Maybe disable virus scanning the first time you run it too. There's always a chance, right? Good luck. Let us know, okay?
 
Make sure all settings in the regional & language options in the control panel is set to the language of MS Money (English if bought in the U.S.). Reboot & reinstall.
