Plz help me with my Compaq 1800T Laptop

hey guys, when i reformated my laptop it gave me some errors with Win2k so i installed XP. When i try to start it it gives me a blue screen and then restarts! i can run it in safe mode with networking and it starts fine but then gives me an error about my ATI Rage Mobility 128 2X AGP and says that it couldnt install the drivers (safe mode?). can some one plz help me figure this out or give me any suggestions? thx

You can still use the system using the VGA driver at 640X480 16 color. Or using another system check for an updated XP display driver from Compaq. Download it and follow procedures as per Compaq. A W2K display driver should also work for XP although I recommend downloading a newer version from Compaq.
