I'm having trouble getting this one computer to connect to the LAN. I'll refer to that computer by computer C from this point on. I have DLINK 604 router and three computers. Two computers work perfectly on the network, but computer C refuses to work. The router sees the computer C as being connected but computer C cannot get on the internet or access the other two computer's shared drives. The router does not assign an IP to computer C even though DHCP is enabled. The computer C has IP of 168.xxx.xxx.xx and the other two computers have 192.168.0.101 and 192.168.0.102 The two computers work so I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the router. Computer C has Windows Millennium installed. I've tried doing a clean install of WINDOWS ME and WINDOWS XP HOME, but it still doesn't work. I've tried using 3 different network cards: USB and two regular PCI network cards(linksys and dlink). I have tried a new linksys router but computer C still doesn't work on LAN. They can't ping each other either. Of course, the two computers that are working can ping each other but they can't ping computer C nor can computer C ping the other two computers.

What can be wrong here? I've been trying to fix this problem for weeks now.

Double check to make sure that your router is set up to release more than 2 ips via DHCP.
