i got new system amd 720be and biostar 790gx a3+ board.
I have old 6600gt for the time (i will shortly be getting ati 4770)
The thing is, i pluged the 6600gt in master pciex slot and the paddle card in slave pciex slot bt then there were bios bips and no display. Then i removed the paddle card and started the pc with only the gfx card and it was working.
Whats wrong here? Will i always have to be satisfied with 8x and not 16x.
i even tried to run the pc while installing the 6600gt in slave pciex bt then too same problem.
Is there anything wrong with my board or its just due to very old card??
Should i have atleast ati 3450 card to attain the 16x speed & have the paddle card issue solved??
