Hi all, I found a very strange problem with my I90HD motherboard. When I set the onchip Sata mode to "Native IDE", some of the natrual DOS based software like "Ghost" will not be able to see my Sata Drive. When I set it to "AHCI" mode then the drive can be seen but the files in the drive cannot be accessed. The only way I can get these programs to work is to set it to "Legacy IDE" mode. But the regular IDE controller will be disabled in this mode, so I won't be able to use my old IDE CD-RW and DVD drives. Also the hard drive runs very slow in this mode.

I already tried using different beta and mod bios, but still won't help. Is there anyway I can solve this problem? Thanks!

Is your Ghost 2003 version equal to build 793? If it's not, then it needs to be updated, because that is the version that added support for native SATA drives.
