I haven't been paying attention to P4 developments.
I know that 0.13 P4 is called "Northwood".
Are current P4 all on that smaller faster die they introduced months ago with the 2.4?
What models have HT enabled, and can you hack it on ones that don't have it officially?
Are any steppings or pack dates particularly desirable?
I want a 25% minimum overclock on a new processor- just because. What speed of processor should I buy and on what bus for an overclock at a standard bus speed?
The 2.4 looks a good bet, is it? And should I get 400 or 533 for the overclock? Or should I wait for the 800mhz bus P4 with HT that are supposed to be coming? I think a 2.4 o/c to 3.2 would be fine for me if I could have hyperthreading.
