Plumbing question regarding pressure.

Coming into the house I got a line that goes to a pressure regulator then up to a vanguard manabloc. All the lines in the house are fed off the manabloc, even the ones to the outdoor spickets. All the tubing in the house is that plactic PEX tubing, looks to be maybe 1/2". I'm not sure what the pressure is but I would guess it's about 30-35 PSI. I just bought a guage to measure the pressure so I'll know for sure when I get home. If it is 30-35 PSI, can I increase the pressure to say 50-60 PSI without fvcking something up? The pressure regulator says the range goes up to 75PSI.

Most PEX tubing is rated much higher than those pressures. For example Type part number 51275K81 here, 160 psi rating. But, I can't tell if you have thinner tubing, if your tubing is damaged, if it were installed correctly, or if you have any local codes that don't allow higher pressures.

yeah, that is what I don't know. I live on a slab and all the piping is run under it. It would be a royal PITA if it ruptured under it.
 
Shouldn't be a problem to increase the pressure. The PEX should be able to handle it. As far as installation problems, it's not like there's a lot of fittings or something - generally, they just run a "homerun" - from your manifold to where the water is being used, with a valve at one end or the other (or both.) No fittings/joints in between to have fail. That's the nice thing about PEX

Normal household pressure is considered 40 - 60 psi.
