The USB2.0 AND Firewire version is on sale for $10 more.
Why would anyone want Firewire when USB2.0 currently offers wider throughput?
A future Firewire on the horizon will eclipse USB2.0 throughput.
I recall that there are 2 chipsets. One is good and one is bad.
Some external enclosures are for HD's only where as others accomodate both HD's and CD-RW's.
Aluminum cases without fans are quite and offer better cooling but cost twice as much as plastic.
Can an expert tell us what to look for and recommend a good plastic and alluminum external eclosure.
This one looks good to me.
Thanks
