Plum wine = good

hehe, we had some of that yesterday night...fun stuff. I'm an equal-opportunity-drinker when it comes to liquer though, so anything that's good, is good by me.

Speaking of which...it's been a while since I've had some good sake and/or soju.

I would say it's definately an acquired taste....if you like the pickled plums that you can buy from ethnic stores...then you would like this wine.

Best I can describe the taste is kinda sour from the plum of course....but sweet, also from the plums 😛 The aroma is very sweet...almost over powering. Texture is pretty thick.

It's really hard to explain 😛 I would stop by your local grocery store, buy some plums, and see if you like them 1st. Some people hate the taste, so it's really a cultural thing. If you grew up eating the stuff, you'll like it. If you never had it before, it will be an interesting experience. Just keep an open mind and you'll be alright 🙂
 
Mmmmm, dry sake and plum wine served over ice, good drink (called a Samurai, isn't it?)

I tried some of that plum brandy when I was in Turkey, that stuff is great, although I think I'd prefer it mixed with something.

 
Plum wine ranks right up there with zima, wine coolers, and fruity drinks with umbrellas.

If you've testicles you won't be caught drinking plum wine. 😉
