Plugging in 2 mice to same machine?

I'd like to put a usb trackball into my usb hub. This would be in addition to my ps2 mouse on my pc. The trackball would only be used for some gaming. Can this be done?

Heh. I've had a PS2 mouse, two USB mice, a serial mouse, and a bus mouse on one machine.

Should work. I had a ps2 mouse and a microsoft serial EZ-ball installed when my boys were small. The mice worked simultaneously, the older son would "help" his younger brother thru the tricky parts in their kidgames. Well, sometimes...

Different mice for different users/tasks? Sure, why not, might be something where USB would work well.
