Plugging air line...

So I have this as my new toy:

But being as it's older than me it leaks air like a popped balloon. I've traced the biggest offender to the handle where 3 small air lines are used to control the height of the post and the extension of the post

All of which I do manually. I want to plug these lines to stop the massive air leak. I have a 60 gallon air tank and it goes from 125 psi to 80 psi faster than the compressor can keep up.

These appear to be 3/16" using banjo bolts to attach to the handle. The center bolt is stripped (causing a leak). The left bolt is the supply and the right bolt is for the post height adjustment. What direction should I go to fix this?

Why not replace the fittings and get it working correctly?

McMaster Carr probably has the parts.

I can't find an a description or a size of the part. The parts manual describes it as a 'fitting'. Googleing the number yeilds zero info. Also, there are some pieces further down the air lines that either don't work or leak air.

i have no idea if those are some standard part.

can those right angle fittings be replaced with straight ones?

can you unscrew it and see if it's a NPT ( 1/8 or 1/4 or something ). if they are you could get away with some air hose + hose barbs + hose clamps + teflon tape if the parts are unusual/expensive.

Well, I just found out that the banjo fitting is fine. The plastic plug it bolts to on the other hand..,

Now do I use JB weld or a 2-part epoxy?

im wondering if you are ever going to stop it from leaking. epoxy will only do so much. might have to hit up the manufacturer for a replacement part...so mucho dinero >_<

Already looked. Replacement handle is $225. The banjo bolt threading is M5 x.8

I would try the JB weld first, it might work, they also make a JB weld "stick" now that's comes in a tube, you just cut off how much you want to use and knead up a ball of it and apply, seems to harden faster than the original formula. Whichever one you use give it a good 24 hours to set up before applying any pressure to the joint..
