Plugging a hard drive to PSP?

Hi. I've been wondering if it is possible to plug a moblie hard drive to the PSP over USB? It would be interesting, as the 1GB flash card has small storage. I think that it wouldn't be possible as the hard drive doesn't have it's own power supply, right ? And also, would it be possible to plug an iPod to a PSP to move the data?
