Plug & play Monitor problem

My OS is Win98SE, a recently clean install. When I boot my system, Win 98SE loads drivers for a Default monitor. I already have the drivers for my Iiyama monitir installed, Device manager has two monitors installed. If I delete the default monitor, when I reboot, drivers are reinstalled for a Default Monitor. Any heelp to permanetely getting rid of the default monitor? Under display settings it shows the Iiyama monitor as installed.

You may need to reinstall the .inf file for your monitor. This is a common problem, but usually when you pick something else it stays there.

I cannot seem to fix this problem. If I remove the Default monitor & restart, Windows reinstalls default monitor, even though the Iiyama monitor drivers are there.
