Plug in phone jack?

I am looking for an adapter that fits into an electrical outlet that basically serves as a normally functioning phone jack. If you know of such a thing let me know what it is called or where I can get it.I need one because i have no phone jack in my room and i want internet acces in my room, and i have DSL

Do you already have your DSL connected to the phone, etc? If so, just get a hub or router and run ethernet cables. oh yeah, wrong forum.

Just run a phone wire up......kinda easy.

Those used to be fairly popular, back before people realized that they usually weren't worth the cost. It was cheaper to buy a cordless phone.

Also, the ones I *have* seen, did not support DSL...

Those electrical phone adapters will NOT support a DSL signal. Wireless is the way to go.

Buy a router and either go wireless, or use networking over powerlines (much like the powerline phone jacks you are looking for).
