2. What is the definition of VPN tunnels ?

3. AES support important ?

any recommendation ? looking to spend < $1k

I am interested in this too but can't afford the ones linked to.

A few years ago I set up a vpn for a client and used a (literally) $30 SMC. It works fine. I want to get another router for a different client and spend like up to $200 but I don't want these fancy things that are $5000. As far as I can tell that SMC works as well as these expensive ones.

Any recommendations? Mainstream $300>
