I'm looking to build an economy pc for my kids. It don't need to be a real barnburner. There is a computer show coming to town (Chattanooga) this weekend and I'm not real up to date on hardware. I have several questions.

What's a decent low price mb/cpu/video card that I should look for?

Since I'm looking to go real cheap the integrated mb's are sure to look real inviting....anything wrong with that?

Should I just get the highest mhz/ghz cpu/mb combo I can get or go for higher quality and lower cpu mhz?

Is there anything in particular that I should avoid like the plague??

Thanks!!
DR

here are the specs of what i think is an ideal econo box:

msi k7n420 pro or the asus a7n266-d - nforce chipset w/ integrated GeF2mx graphics and 5.1 sound
duron 1Ghz up - athlon xp procs are already overkill if you ask me if your box is just for the kids
256MB DDR SDRAM - this would do good for normal use and be sure to avail of the 15% memory discount at crucial for aters. get them in 2 128 sticks

i don't know anything about the plague you're talking about but people with the previously mentioned mobo are quite happy with it.
of course all this is all IMO.
