PLS HELP: My IE 6 Error Page is hijacked!

Every time I encounter a 404 page, my IE is automatically redirected to this stupid homepage: www.lop.com
Would someone please help me to remove that?
I have WinXP with IE6.

did you install iis? if you did then I believe you need to specify the default when you got the 404.


that's the same thing happen to me. the iis window pop up and telling me that.

I got my Searchpage and Links bar hijacked and speaking of that, why does IE even give scripts permission to such alteration?

My Netscape 4.7 is better than that!

That's why you set the security higher than medium.
Disabling all activeX is not such a bad idea.

edit: you need to run both files, one to uninstall lop.com, and the other to uninstall the toolbar

I had this problem too. Luckly, I had a ghost image.

Finally, I went to their website, followed their privacy link and found the uninstaller.
It's been bugging me so much. Now I feel relieved!
