Pls help! Antec Case Power Up Troubles!

Here's the situation:

Just got my new Antec SX1040 case, but I do not have my motherboard yet. Just to test things
out, I wanted to power up the case to make sure the PS, and two case fans were operational.

But, nothing happens when I press the power on (tried several times).

Does the motherboard have to be plugged in for the PS to power up?

Weird...

Yes. On ATX systems the power button connects to the mother board, not the power supply.

DUH!

So there is no way of me testing it without the mobo? 🙂
