The instruction at "0x7c925e88" referenced memory at "0x4000000c". The memory could not be "read" : This happens while installing XP at about 20min remaining when clicking OK it completes the installation but then I can?t load drivers or software, then I get the pop up window that says " a error occurred and the application was closed " .... I was informed that it sounds like my memory that is faulty PLEASE ADVICE ANY1

Try Memtest86 to test your memory. It will take a while, so make sure you have enough snacks :D

If the memory is having errors, please post your hardware details. If you want to be thorough, you can hit Quote and edit this example with your own info... but I won't blame you if you don't. ;) At least give brand & model of all the major parts.

My Magic 8-Ball says "maybe" :Q Sometimes posting your list of hardware also gives people ideas on what else to suggest. For example, if your 500W PSU is a low-quality brand, and you have six or seven drives plus a 6800GS on it, then people might suggest trying a high-quality PSU as a fact-finding step.

You should run the updated version which is memtest86+
found.. http://www.memtest.org/

Got to load this to a CD or Floppy and run for a few hours, exactly how long is debatable. I think that 6 passes (several hours ? ) is enough for a first diagnostic effort.

Open the computer case and look at the label on the PSU, it will say the brand & model.

I used to do so much hardware troubleshooting that I made that sample template for people to edit. I saw most of the necessary information in your other thread where you listed your hardware, so if you can find the brand and model of your RAM (so I can look up the preferred voltage for it), that would be good. :)

(specs from other thread:
Intel E6400
Asus P5B Deluxe
1GIG DDR 800
80GIG SEAGATE SATA - OS
2x 320 SEAGATE SATA - STORAGE
160 & 250 SEAGATE IDE - STORAGE
500 PSU
GAINWARD PCI-x 6800GS GLH BLISS DDR3 512MB 256Bit )
