I saw the thread about Memento and just had to see of I'm correct. For all of you that have seen the movie you'll remember the end of the movie where
Lenny kills that drug dealer. This is where you can find a subtle flaw in the film. When the dealer arrives he remembers his conversation with the cop
where he tells Lenny that this guy is his wife's killer right? He proceeds to attack the guy and the dealer offers him money in exchange for his life.
Lenny get angrier and chokes the guy to death. As he is dragging the body into the basement he hears a sound and forgets where he is and what he's doing.
He heads out of the house and sees the cop coming. we know that Lenny doesnt know his identity because he flips through his pictures to remind himself. Here is the hole.
When Lenny attacks the cop he asks why the cop why there was money in the car and if it was a drug deal. How could Lenny remember that. If he remembered the offer
from the drug dealer he should remember why he is killing him and therefore remember Teddy's identity except that he doesnt! Therefore he wouldn't remember the money offered
by the drug dealer!
