Plezzz help: can Nero 5.0.4.4 convert MP3s to wave files? UPDATE: SOLVED, thanks all !!

I have Nero 5.0.4.4 and was wondering if it can convert mp3 files to wave files since my friend wants to listen to her music on a regular cd player.

UPDATE: when I opt the specifiy Audio CD and do drag and drop, and burn it, it doesn't create .wav files but instead creates .cda files.

If not, can you guys make any recommendations on what software to use? Share or freeware would be preferable. Thanks guys and gals! 🙂

This works for me. Just make sure that you specify that you wish to make an Audio CD.
 
Drag and drop works if you don't need to tweak any of your files. If you need to amp something or edit out some silence, use Winamp and a wav editor.
 
.cda files are audio files. They are the format that wav files are stored on Audio CDs.
Try playing your CD in your player. It should work fine.
