my Wife got a iTouch from work for xmas.

I have 6 computers connected wireless, with 32 key security. I just generated this key online some time ago. Put it on a usb stick and just copy/paste to anything new I want to add.

If you can do this somehow with the itouch, I don't know how.

So, I thought I'd enter it manually. But my key has a character that the itouch does not (well, if it does, I can't find it).

Every computer/laptop in the house has the key, it's the lower tildy key " `".
To the left of the "1" key. First key on the keyboard.

If someone knows some kind of way that I can copy paste the key, great. If there is some way of viewing more symbols on the itouch that I'm not seeing.

At this point, only fix I can think of, is creating a new key that doesn't contain this ` . Then update all 6.

That the only way around this :/

Her laptop has Vista, I have ubuntu/winxp, there must be some way of getting a .txt file there that I can copy / paste. iTunes only deals with music/video as far as I can tell.

thanks for any tips here.

Ahh yes, the infamous backtick (i.e. accent grave). There's no way to do it on the keyboard, you'll need to follow this guide to do it.

thanks so much Virge,

I'm not crazy, it's not there :)

This sounds easier than changing them all.
