They're in demand so go for 150 to 175 right now but will drop quickly. I'd like one too as it has the burnproof and I'm at 4x right now.

I think 160 now. But if you wait a little while they'll go for like 130...

I've got a SONY 4x,2x,24x so the plextor would be a huge improvment to my system. But then I don't got more than 100$ to put on a burner.

I've got a 8x. And it's perfectly fine for me. 1 minute less than a Plextor PlexWriter 12x. Nothing big...

yeah $150-160 sounds about right... lucky me got one off my friend for $100 when he got a few off some best buy deal w/ rebate a whiles back...
