Plextor's burning software problems???

Has anyone else had a problem with Plextor's Adaptec burning software with Win 2000? It won't work for me.

Works fine on my system. What you mean it wont work? makes coasters? error messages?

your problem could be the fact that win2k doesn't have an ASPI layer.

It gives me an error message when I try to burn and is really slow and kinda choppy. But I used the Plextor utility to do a copy and it worked wonderfully. So I know its not the Burner and DVD drive.

did you even try what bacillus suggested? it could very well solve your problem, i used it in the past with success

The Adaptec (actually it's Roxio now) software has had numberous bugs on W2K including total system hosing.
I've had much better luck using Nero with my Plexies...

Another vote for Nero. Much better, more features.
