Plextor's 8XDVD+R,4XDVD-R,40XCDR,24XCDRW

For that speed, a hard drive will have to be able to provide data at ~9.34MB/sec, assuming my math is right. Better not do anything else with your PC while it's burning.

GEEZ, a 2MB buffer? Why'd they even bother with it? That's not even a quarter-second of burn time at max speed. I'd want more like maybe a 32MB buffer.

Yikes! Easy CD Creator? Why not Nero 6??

Still, I wouldn't mind having one.😀 My secondary PC's RAID array can provide it enough data quickly enough. Though I do wonder how much 8x media will cost.

Plextor has long been using CD Creator with their Plextools but from what I've done with Nero 6, I'm impressed, Also surprized @ the low listed $299 price, well low for Plextor 😉 and YES that buffer is to small IMO too

If only It did 8x DVD-R as well. Bah its too late i've already got my DVD Burner and until this one dies thats it for me.

Yep, I've had my eye on this burner since they announced it. When it is released, it will be THE DVD burner! And I'll pick one up as soon as they hit the shelves. I've waited long enough for a DVD burner. :|
