Plextor Warranty Policy for "OEM" drives...

I'm about to purchase a new Plexwriter 1210TS OEM drive from Newegg.com.

Some manufacturers (such as Maxtor), will directly honor the warranty of their products, regardless of whether they are OEM or Retail...

Will Plextor honor the warranty on my purchase, even though the drive is OEM?

Manufacturers usually warranty drives regardless of OEM or Retail. (Usually, not always.)

Since Newegg claims a 1 year warranty on the drive, I wouldn't worry about it. If Plextor won't honor it, Newegg would have to since that is what they are claiming.
