Plextor TX225819 question

Their CD burners yes. Their CD-ROM drives I'm not sure. I have one in my system and it is so loud and even causes the floor to vibrate. This one is much worse than the 2 Plextor drives I owned previously, the other 2 were really loud, but I don't remember them vibrating the floor. Unless I have to use 2 CDs at once I almost always use my Pioneer 303s (DVD). 2 of my friends took out their 40x SCSI Plextor drives when they bought their 303s. It is just so much quieter and sometimes it even feels faster. It even benchmarks faster on my system with AnySpeed and Sandra.
