Plextor Rebate Question for those that are using it...

I just installed my Plex drive and everything, now when i'm bout to fill out the form it asks for the Serial # on top of the drive! Damn I don't feel like taking everything apart again! But the question is, on top of the retail box there is a serial number and another number..do they match the drive?
 
I think Plextor likes to screw with their customers (and thwart some attempted returns if the retailer sees the serials don't match) so yeah, the box's serial number doesn't match the drive's.
 
Hmm...by any chance is it a 6 digit number? Intel's Program Accerator thingy has the whole bus description under the serial of the cdrw drive it has a serial.
